To the woman feeling hopeless

To the woman feeling hopeless

I am writing this to tell you personally the revelation God gave me about having a true relationship with Him really is about…

There is no difficult answer here. However, it seems like religion has made it difficult for some people to see the truth. The truth really is, Him. His heart, His love, His mercy, His grace and His faithfulness.

God makes it clear what true religion really is about:

“Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”

‭‭James‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God gave us Jesus, His only begotten son to show us how to have a true relationship with Him and others.

If you're going through a difficult situation, loss of a loved one, a job, or even a relationship; God cares for you. He has a purpose in the midst of your pain and healing is available through Him.

Since 2018, I have lost more loved ones than I can count off my two hands. It was extremely difficult to grasp on why this was happening even before the pandemic started.

The hardest part of it was trying to press on while deep down inside I was really falling apart. It's easy to see a cut that is bleeding and put a bandage on - but the wounds unseen is what I'm really talking about.

These wounds are not visible and only God can see it if we never speak on it.

How do you draw closer to God when you feel like your falling apart on the inside?

Know that Jesus is the answer.

When you draw closer to God - He draws even closer to you.

Start with praying scriptures. Alot of times in the beginning of my healing process - I really didn't know what to pray. So, I allowed Holy Spirit to pray for me.

Affirm God's healing and restoration over your life. Alot of times, I would affirm Psalms 23 over my life and know as I lay in His green pastures, He restores my soul.

Keep a Journal. Writing to God really helped me. It was a way of venting my heart to God - knowing that He is listening to me.

Get a counselor or coach. Finding a counselor or coach to help you through difficult times is important. Talk to your Pastor or find a faith believing counselor/coach to help you through your healing journey. Paper Moments offers counseling/coaching services for women to heal well and live well in Christ.

No matter what you may be facing, issues with family, loss of a loved one, or searching for your purpose in Christ - He is the answer.

“‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭33:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
